Powder coating is the least romantic part of the workshop and the one we argue about most. Too thin and the steel telegraphs every weld; too thick and a sharp chair edge turns into a soft one.
Our current rule: two passes, 80 microns, and every piece cures hanging from the same corner hook so the shadow line lands where the eye expects it. Boring, repeatable, correct.
