Shipping furniture whole is shipping air. Shipping it flat usually means shipping regret — wobbly joints, stripped threads, an Allen key you resent.
The compromise we keep returning to: machined steel inserts in every joint, bolts you can re-torque for a decade, and instructions short enough to fit on a postcard. If a piece cannot survive its third move, we do not sell it.
